We are out in HI and just read of Agnes’ passing. We are saddened and want to extend our sincere condolences to the passing of your mother and grandmother. Agnes was a very special person to us. She was kind and loyal and a pleasure to have work with us at The Oven Door for many years. She now joins her marriage partner Raphael in heaven, but she will be long remembered and missed. God bless you all.

Dear Nancy and David and families,
I express our deepest condolence for the loss of your mother. My sister and I had lunch with Aunt Agnes about 4-5 years ago at a north Fargo cafe, and she seem so fragile then. When we expressed concern, she insisted she was doing fine living by herself, that she had friends checking on her and that you both regularly call.. I was impressed by her fighting spirit. I remember her as a kind and gracious lady, an excellent hostess, with a ready smile and exuding warmth on those occasions when our family visited her and your Dad in Fargo. I am glad she was with you in her last days. From your cousin, Claire Rotering.

I delivered meals to Ms. Schmidt for a couple of years at her house on 32nd. She would always graciously greet me and sincerely thank me after a short chat. My thoughts are with her family.

    Hi Nancy and David,
You may remember me as Antonette Schatz. I remember your mom, Aunt Agnes, as a gracious lady. She was always friendly and willing to welcome company. I will miss her, as I’m sure you two will. May God bless her soul.
