  21. Darlene, Bonnie, Caleb & Skar Family,
My deepest heartfelt condolences to all of you. I was shocked when I heard of his passing. I saw the video celebrating his life. A very beautiful video. It captured his “love of life”. I will always remember him with a smile on his face. Darlene, after meeting you, I can see where Sonny got his “gift of putting people at ease”. He inherited that trait from you. He was always friendly & kind. He could make you laugh at his “stories”. Bonnie, I can’t imagine what you are experiencing — losing your son, dad & now your spouse! You are a very strong lady & I’m praying that God gives you all the strength & courage to face the days ahead. Sonny loved you so very much & he always made it a point to state that you were his “lady & the love of his life — thru good times & bad times”. Caleb, I know you will have the strength to provide your mom & grand-mother the strength they need as you also mourn the death of your dad. You two looked so much “alike” Anjelee & I are still “grieving Lee’s death”. Grief is a very difficult emotion. It doesn’t get easier — you just have to learn to take it “day by day”. Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers. May the peace of the Lord be with all of you. Much love & prayers being sent to you. Aurora Duncan

  22. Dear Bonnie, my sister told about your husband and of your loss. I am glad I could tell you here, how sorry I am, about your husband. I enjoyed the video of your family, What a happy Vikings fan, he certainly was a great, fun-loving man. Again, my condolences to you and your family.
Sincerely, your long time ago friend!

  23. When I saw Sonny’s picture I said his name before I read further. Who could forget this guy?
Sonny, a friend of my brothers, and one of his bands use to practice in our basement when I was a young teenage girl. I would find any excuse so that i could be in the basement , heck i think i cleaned that basement bathroom til i was blue just so that i could hang out by the band and the music! Sonny made them a fun group to be around. RIP Sonny, let your drums now rock those heavenly sent thunderstorms’
