Alexandra Rose Bakken passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at Essentia Hospital, Fargo. Alexandra was born August 4, 1992 to April (Haaland) Hilde in Fargo, North Dakota. She grew up in Fargo until later moving to Detroit Lakes where she later graduated from Detroit Lakes High School. Alexandra continued her education in massage therapy. She later got her diploma to be a receptionist where she currently worked at Essentia Health Hospital. On June 13, 2015 she married Alin Bakken at Grove Lake Lutheran Church. Alexandra is a loving wife, mother, and daughter. No matter what she did, she did with a smile and never complained. Alexandra is survived by her husband, Alin; daughter, Ava; parents, Jason and April Hilde; brothers, Logan and Tanner; grandparents, Rose and Roger Haaland; In laws, Paul and Tammy; brother in law, Cris; and aunts, uncles, and cousins. Alexandra is preceded in death by great grandparents, Milton and Agness Haaland and Delores Johnson. Visitation will take place from 9:00-10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM Friday, July 24, 2020 at Hope Lutheran Church South Campus, Fargo. Burial will take place at Grove Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery, Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. There will be a celebration of life on August 1, 2020 from 1:00-5:00 PM at Paul and Tammy’s place.
