Alphonse Bailly

Alphonse L. Bailly, age 69, Horace, ND, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at ManorCare in Fargo. Alphonse L. Bailly was born December 5, 1936 in Horace, ND. He grew up on a farm in Horace. He attended St Benedict?s School and graduated from high school there. He enlisted in the Navy. After his service, he returned to Horace. He graduated from Hanson Mechanical School in Fargo and worked as a sheet metal worker at Grants Mechanical. Alphonse and Carolyn ?Tina? Anderson were married on October 6, 1962 in St. Benedict?s Catholic Church. They lived in Fargo until moving to Horace in 1964. He retired from Peterson Mechanical in 1998. In September of 2005 he moved to Moorhead Manor, Moorhead, MN. Alphonse enjoyed woodworking, leatherwork, gardening, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn in 2004; his son Troy Bailly in 1994; and grandson Jamie Anderson in 1990. He is survived by his daughters, Lori (Russ) Johnson of Pocatello, ID and Vicki Anderson of Horace, ND; grandchildren, Travis Anderson, Horace, ND, Marah Johnson and Ciera Johnson of Pocatello, ID; his brother, Robert (Vivian) Bailly, Rapid City, SD; three sisters, Betty VanRaden, Albuquerque, NM, Mary Hoefflin, Fargo, ND, and Kay (Walter) James, Longview, WA.
