Andres (Andy) Casarez, age 44, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home in Fargo. Andres was born on January 30, 1973, in Weslaco, Texas, being one of 12 children. On February 15, 1992, Andres married Heidi Ford, the love of his life, in Hillsboro, ND. Andres loved fishing, hunting, grilling, riding motorcycle, Spanish music, and working with his friends at Pactiv. The thing he enjoyed the most was spending time with his family and friends. Andres is survived by his wife Heidi; son Andres (Steph Hodge) of Minot, ND; daughter Ashley (Devon Ward), Miltona, MN; granddaughter Isabella Eleanor Ward and baby Ward (August 2018); mother Esperanza (Juan) Tomayo, Donna, TX; brothers Porfirio (Nati) Perez, Fargo, ND; Amaro (Belinda) Casarez, Donna, TX; Mario (Clara) Perez, Sedalia, MO; Maribel Perez, Donna, TX; Maria Diaz, Donna, TX; Criselda (Lionel Cruz) Reyes, Donna, TX; John Tamayo, Donna, TX; Esperanza Tamayo (Shannon Prysock), Houston, TX; Eddie Tamayo, Donna, TX; Sarah (Raul Antu) Tamayo, Donna, TX; Rick Tamayo, Tarzana, CA; and mother-in-law He is preceded in death by his father Mario Cortez, Donna, TX; father-in-law Edwin Ford, Hillsboro, ND; grandparents Porfirio and Maria C Perez, Donna, TX; uncles Daniel Almanza, Hatton, ND; Salvador Perez, Donna, TX; Lazaro Almanza, Mission, TX; aunts, Rosa Martinez, Donna, TX; Maria L. Perez, Donna, TX; and Soladad Diaz, Donna, TX. There will be a visitation from 5-6:00 PM with a prayer service following at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration Center, Fargo. The funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo with a visitation one hour prior.
