Angela Lepine, 89, treasured wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, entered paradise on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo. Angela Richard was born to Edward and Anna Richard on July 18, 1919. She grew up on the family farm near Wild Rice, ND, and attended St. Benedict‘s Academy. After graduating, she continued to help her parents with the farm until leaving home to wed Joe Lepine. They married February 15, 1941 and lived in Bremerton WA during World War Two where Joe worked for the Navy. They returned to Fargo in 1945 and lived in this area throughout their married life. While raising her family she spent countless hours over many years as a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul, St. Anthony’s Parish, the Cursillo Movement and other charities. She was a gifted seamstress, her home made bread and pies were legendary and she loved to garden. She lived her life with grace, courage and dignity. Many people considered her a life long friend. She is survived by her children: Jim (Joyce) Lepine, Fargo, Elaine (Frank) Yunker, Seattle, WA, Susy (Al) Schardin, Palm Springs, CA, and Julie Lepine, Fargo; her grandchildren: Josette, Mike, Tricia, Jill, Vince, Holly, Anne, Heidi, Penny, Jena, Amy, and Robin; and 13 Great Grandchildren, Sisters, Diane (Steve) Grindberg, Joanne Erickson, Brothers Daniel and Morris (Ella), and sister in law Leone and brother in law Ted Lepine. Angie was preceded in death by Joe, the love of her life, infant son Jeffery, her parents, two brothers and a sister. The funeral will be at the Church of the Nativity at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. There will be a Prayer Service at Boulger Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 Tuesday in the funeral home and one hour before the funeral in the church. Interment will be at Holy Cross North.
