Ann G. Brunelle, 83, of Cumberland, WI, formerly of Fargo, died Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the Cumberland Extended Care Unit after a prolonged illness with Alzheimer?s disease. She was born April 21, 1921 in St. John, ND to Halvor and Helene (Larson) Nordbo. She was married in Wild Rice, ND on September 4, 1943 to John Brunelle who preceded her in death on August 9, 1989. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Christine and Thelma and 4 brothers, Ole, Alvin Henry and Raymond. Ann worked as a tailor at J.C. Penney Company in Fargo for 25 years, retiring in 1987. In addition, she was a member of Church of the Nativity in Fargo and served in a women?s circle. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed ?putzing? in the yard. She loved spending time with family, particularly her grandchildren. She is survived by 1 daughter, Peggy Sullivan (John Talbot) of Cumberland, WI; 1 son, Gary (Pamela) Brunelle of Tucson, AZ; 2 grandchildren, Sean Sullivan of Phoenix, AZ and Nicole (Josh) Payne of Farmington, NM; 2 great grandchildren, Hallie and Spencer Payne; 1 sister, Rosie (Keith) Hare of Cooperstown, ND and 1 brother, Gilford Nordbo of Mayville, ND. Memorials may be sent to local Alzheimer?s foundations. Visitation will be Monday, August 9, from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. The memorial Mass will be Tuesday, August 10, at 11:00 am at Church of the Nativity, Fargo. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements with Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
