Ann C. Kavanaugh, 51, passed away at her home on April 14, 2006, surrounded by her family. Ann C. Kavanaugh was born in Chicago, Illinois to Gerald and Donna Kavanaugh on April 5, 1955. She grew up and attended elementary school in Rochester, Minnesota. Ann came with her family to Fargo where she graduated from Fargo North High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her Masters degree from the University of Minnesota. Ann then attended University College, Dublin, Ireland from which she received her PhD. Ann published John Fitzgibbon, Earl of Clare: A Study in Personality & Politics She taught at the University of Minnesota, North Dakota State University, and Concordia College. Ann also enjoyed teaching at the tri-college Communiversity in Fargo. She is survived by her Parents Dr. Gerald and Donna Kavanaugh, Fargo, ND Brothers Kevin (Teri) Kavanaugh, Maple Grove, MN Peter Kavanaugh, Minneapolis, MN Sister Sheila Orth, Fargo, ND Nephew Matthew Kavanaugh Niece Holly Anne Orth The funeral Mass for Ann will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fargo at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a Prayer Service in the Boulger Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home and one hour before the funeral in the church. Burial will be at Holy Cross, North Cemetery, Fargo. Arrangements with Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
