Ann M. Dochow, 96, Fargo passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Ann Magdalene Dochow was born May 11, 1921 at Solen, ND to Emil and Mary (Manjaxen) Holubok. She grew up on a farm near there. She graduated from Selfridge High School. Ann received her teaching certificate from Dickinson State Teachers College. She taught grade school in that area for a number of years. Ann married Frank W. Conlon Sr. in Richardton, ND. The couple made their home in Dickinson. They had two children. Frank died in 1951. Ann moved to Breckenridge where she lived until returning to Dickinson. While in Dickinson she worked as a store clerk at the Montgomery Ward Dept. Store. Ann moved to Fargo in 1968. Ann married Frank H. Dochow on May 5, 1973 in Fargo. The couple lived on a farm near Kindred, ND. Frank died in 1982. She later moved to Fargo where she resided until her passing. Ann enjoyed dancing, especially to polka music. She is survived by her two children, Mary Ann (Gene) Rider, Thompson Falls, MT and Frank (Gloria) Conlon, Lakeville, MN; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Donald (Marlys) Holubok, Rothsay, MN. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Boulger Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Center, Fargo. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery North, Fargo

  2. So sorry to hear of your loss.She did a lot for our family when I was very young.We really loved her visits to Oshkosh. My sister was right her fresh rills were the best. She would always make them for us. My prayers and thoughts are with you. She is having fun now with all her sisters. Sending love Pattie

  3. I would also like to echo the comments from my sisters. Aunt Ann was always a delight when she came to visit us in Oshkosh when we were kids. Sometimes it would be a surprise and we would wake up in the morning and there they were Aunt Ann, Frankie and Mary Ann who had come in on the night train. And yes we would never let Aunt Ann leave until she had baked here famous rolls.
