Anthony "Tony" Vetter

Tony Vetter was born on July 23, 1941, in Strasburg, North Dakota, to John and Angeline Vetter. He married Luana on September 10, 1976, and they lived in Fargo, for 42 years. He worked in the bussing industry for 50 years, selling busses in ND, SD, and MN, retiring from North Central Industrial Products in 2014. Tony enjoyed cheering on the NDSU Bison, and enjoyed following their football and basketball teams. He was an excellent card player, enjoying both cribbage and pinochle. He loved traveling, and took his family on several trips all across the US and other countries. During the summer, he would spend much of his time at Big Cormorant Lake, relaxing and enjoying the company of family and friends. Tony was a member of Pontoppidan Lutheran Church for many years. Tony was particularly proud of his 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. After he retired, the focus of his life turned to them and he took great happiness in following their activities and interests. Tony is survived by his wife, Luana, his three step children, Lorel (Tammy) Myxter, Lyrae Myxter (Paul Balsamello), and Lance (Rebecca) Myxter, his 5 grandchildren, Kaidra (Dustin), Kailee, Koby, Rilyn, and Caleb, and his two great granddaughters, Brynlee and Blayklyn. Tony was a loving husband, a patient and providing parent, a perfect grandpa, and a loyal friend. We will miss his smile, his laugh, and his kindness, and we were honored to have had him in our lives.
