Ardella Mae Boyer, 89, Fargo, ND passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at Eventide Fargo ND. She was born on February 24, 1928 to Orris and Ann (Grady) Syverson, at Esmond, ND. She graduated from Isabelle Township School and Dakota Business College in Fargo. She worked for a few years in Fargo at an insurance company. Ardella was united in marriage to Delton Andrew Boyer on Nov. 4, 1950 at Zion United Methodist Church rural Walcott, ND where they remain as members. They worked together on the family farm near Walcott, ND until they retired. Winters were spent at ViewPoint Resort, Mesa, AZ where they enjoyed meeting new friends and trying lots of new activities. In 1984 they moved to Kindred where they lived for 32 years until they moved into Fargo, ND in 2016. Ardella served on the Walcott School District Advisory Committee, numerous election Boards for Colfax Township, and held several positions for the Zion Church. She enjoyed many hobbies especially crocheting, gardening and was well-known as an excellent cook and baker . She cherished spending time with her family and attending the grandchildren’s church and school activities. Ardella is survived by her loving family. Delton her husband of nearly 67 years; three children, Paulette (Gene) Gronneberg, Hannaford, ND; Leigh (Ellen) Boyer, Walcott, ND; Colleen (Dallas) Israelson Christine, ND. Seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; Dawn (Jason) Mayer, Taylor and Tanner Bismarck, ND; Darcy (Brian) Ludwig, Jasmine, Madison, Layton and Logan Minot, ND; Kristi (Louis) Halvorson, Lauryn, Karsyn and Kade Binford, ND; Alexis Boyer, Fargo, ND, and Isaac and Courtney; Candace (Louis) Mattson Moorhead, MN; Suzanne (fiancé, Evan Nelson) Maple Grove, MN; and Haley Israelson, Moorhead, MN; and her sister Mary Syverson, Esmond, ND. Ardella is preceded in death by her parents, Orris and Ann Syverson, brothers Stanley and sister-in-law Ludwena; Neil (Susan), Fairbault MN; and Warren (Janice) Valley City, ND. There will be a Funeral Service at Zion United Methodist Church, rural Walcott, ND at 11:00 am Thursday with visitation in the church from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will be at Zion Cemetery.
