  3. I was so saddened to hear of Ben’s passing. My heart hurts for all of his family. Ben’s mom, Joyce, was one of my best friends, so through her I got to know the special guy that Ben was. I watched him grow up from a little boy camping with us, to the teenager, to the man about to marry his wife. I can still hear Joyce’s words as she described Teresa as….”She’s a keeper!” My thoughts and prayers are with the family during the difficult days ahead. May he rest in peace and be reunited with his mom, brother, and other extended family who have left us way too soon.

  4. Was so sad to hear this news. Ben was such an amazing guy. He was a great friend and am so blessed to have known him for all these years. I always loved his smile, giggles, stories, sense of humor, his spunkiness and his kindness. We will always cherish the many years of friendship and memories. There usually was never a dull moment when Ben was around. Our hearts go out to Teresa, Bryce, Jacob, Rodney and all of his family and friends. Fly high my sweet friend and save us a seat until we meet again. Love you man!

Deepest condolences and prayers for your loss of Ben. He was a pleasure to know as neighbor; as a guy who was honest and forthright in his business dealings. I always found it a delight to deal with him in the Kozojed shop with any projects or buys, and always knew any purchases or services rendered were accurate, handled professionally, and with the kindness which Ben gave to any and all he had a business or trusted relationship. I was honored to know him. He is a treasured memory……

Ben, may your heart and soul rest in eternal Peace, and in the Love of our Father. Your soul has a great new beginning in your eternal home where your family and friends who have gone on before will welcome you with joy.
You will be missed by all who knew you. Godspeed ~

  19. Teresa, boys, Rodney, and other family members,

I just heard of Ben’s passing, and am very saddened to hear this news. As many have said, Ben was “one of a kind”, so kind and pleasant to all. Teresa, I worked with his mother, Joyce (who was also a “gem”) for several years and got to know Ben and Rodney through Joyce. His kindness can be attributed to both Joyce and Rodney who also have/had those great attributes, so they raised him well. I can only imagine that Ben so enjoyed you, Teresa and the boys and spending time with you all. Rodney, although I have not seen you now for several years since moving to be closer to family, I am thankful that you were close to Ben and got to spend time with him and I am sure that Ben was happy to have you close by. Please know that my heart aches for you all, and that as hard as it is for us to understand why God has called him home we feel, too soon,, heaven has gained one more awesome angel who has now been welcomed and reunited with those who have gone before him. This awesome angel will be watching over you all and you have great memories to continue sharing with family and friends.
