Bertha M. Schneider, 90, Died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services, Fargo, ND.
Bertha Schneider was born on October 14, 1920 at Pierce County, ND on a farm. She grew up and attended school near Wells, ND and graduated from High School in Maddock, ND. Bertha helped farm after graduating from High School. Bertha Keller married Adam Ludwig on October 27, 1941, at Selz, ND
They lived and farmed in Pierce County until 1953 when they moved to Fargo. Bertha worked as a homemaker in Fargo. Graduated from Dakota Business College in 1962 and worked at St. John's Hospital in the lab for a number of years before retiring.
Bertha married Tony Schneider in Fargo on July 10, 1970. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking.
She is survived by, children Carol (Donald) Schoff, Hawley, MN, Larry (Becki) Ludwig, Kennewick, WA, and Archie (Tammy) Ludwig, Fargo, ND, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, siblings Eugenia Vetsch, Harvey, ND, Helen Meier, Harvey, ND, Joe C. (Eva) Keller, Harvey, ND, Wilfred (Eva) Keller, Harvey, ND and Tom Keller, Los Banos, CA.
Bertha is preceded in death by her husband Tony, two sons, Ervin & Ronny, and a granddaughter Kathy.

Watertown SDAunt Bertha was such a pleasant lady to be around. She was a real joy to visit and always spoke of her children who visited her each day. What a great role model on aging with such grace and kindness.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of Bertha. She was a witty, caring aunt and was always so positive. It was so enjoyable to listen to her and Mom talk about their childhood.
