Betty Jane Daken

Betty Jane Daken, 72, of Fargo, ND died June 16, 2006 in Innovis Hospital, Fargo, ND Betty was born September 3, 1933 to George and Edith (Sanders) Stark. She grew up on a farm near Felton, MN and graduated from Felton High School. Betty moved to Moorhead where she worked for the Arthur Murray Dance Studio as a Ballroom Dance Instructor . She was then transferred to the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Edina, MN Betty married Lyle Daken on December 14, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN. They moved to Fargo in the late 1950?s. The couple later divorced. Betty operated a day care from her home from 1978 until she retired in 1989 due to failing health. She entered Elim Care Center in November of 2004. She is survived by a daughter, Stacy (John) Syversen, Long Lake, MN and a granddaughter, Anna. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 1:00 p.m. in the Boulger Funeral Home Chapel followed by a private inurnment in the Felton Cemetery.
