Beverly Lien, age 85, Fargo, died March 28, 2020 in Sheyenne Crossings. Beverly Ann Waidt was born on April 10, 1934 in Minot, ND, the daughter of George and Marie Waidt. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1952. Beverly was united in marriage to Robert Rawley in November of 1952. They made their home in Corpus Christi, TX and Minneapolis, MN and raised their family. Beverly was later united in marriage to James Lien and they made their home in Fargo. She worked at Rothchild’s while living in Minneapolis and earlier worked for Hughes Department Store in Fargo. Throughout the years Beverly enjoyed spending time collecting antiques and collecting vintage jewelry. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouses – Robert Rawley and James Lien, and her son Steven Rawley, and her sister Yvonne Haeffner. Beverly is survived by her son, Craig (Debbie) Rawley of Damascus, OR; her brother-in-law Charles Haeffner of Anaconda, MT; her grandchildren – Tracy Linn of Damascus, OR, Jessica Rawley of Aurora, CO, Amy Kindsvater of Yampa, CO; and Milissa Beamer of Aurora, CO; six great grandchildren; several cousins and two nephews – Chuck (Mara) Haeffner and Scott (Georgann) Haeffner.

  5. Beverly was a woman of many layers. She was a fighter, an independent woman, a mother, friend, daughter, niece, aunt and above all my grandma. Words are not enough to describe a woman with such a gregarious personality. A life like that deserved to shine a little longer. My grandma was greatly loved and will be missed dearly. May her legacy of strength and determination proceed her.
