Bobbi Quibell

Gertrude Ann Dryden (Bobbi) was born on August 10, 1936 in Lafayette, LA to Don and Signy (Syvrud) Dryden. She graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1954, from Concordia College in 1958 with a BS degree in Biology and Physical Education.
She taught in secondary and elementary schools in Sauk Centre, Mound, Elkton and Adams, Minnesota.
Bobbi married Wayne Quibell in 1959. They have three sons: John, Matt, and Tom, all of the Fargo area.
The family lived in Adams·from 1963 to 1976, then moved to Fargo. Bobbi owned and operated Bobbi's Day Care from 1982 until 2009. She loved, fed and nurtured fifty-two children during those years.
Bobbi had many interests: she was a great cook and baker, a skilled seamstress and knitter. She loved vocal music, animals, babies, and sports.
As she grew older TV became important. She enjoyed watching sports, reality shows, music competi,tion and QVC.
On Thursday, June 20, at Essentia Hospital, after a short illness, Bobbi died surrounded by her family.
Bobbi is survived by her husband Wayne, her sons John (Karen Trautman), Matt (Cindy Cossette), and Tom; her grandchildren, Brandon, Lucas, Sydney, Tristan, and Ethan Quibell; her brothers Don Jr. and Davita of Auburn, WA, Robert and Shari of Brainerd, and Greg and Rose of Rhienlander, WI; and twelve nieces and nephews.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Signy Dryden and Linda (Hoghoug), Robert's wife who died of cancer in 2003 and numerous uncles and aunts.
Instead of flowers, the family encourages you to give a gift to a reputable charity of your choice that will accomplish real and lasting good.

Ocean NJI am so sorry to hear of Bobbi’s passing. I still just remember her as Gertrude. She was one of my bridesmaids at my wedding in 1955. Wayne, I was so happy to see the 2 of you at the Sjkeberg anniversary 5 years ago. God bless you and your family.

I have a sweater I love that Bobbi knit oh so many years ago in Adams Minnesota
. It is the warmest, most attractive hand knit I can imagine. So, you must believe that I have thought of her every time I have put it on.
Bobbi was a wonderful human being in her years in Adams and I think she must have just gotten better as time went on.

Wayne and family – so very difficult to think that Bobbi is gone. What a great gal she was! I always enjoyed visiting with her and know, from conversations, how much she loved her husband, sons and grandchildren. She was proud of all of you!
