I am so sorry to hear that you have lost a son. When I saw the name Jonas I wondered if it was the same one I remember from my childhood. My father had the 10th Street Grocery and you lived on 9th Avenue South, across from the O’Shea Apartments and the Paul Ryans. Your mother would always come out on the porch and call for Herbie. Only she had an accent and it sounded like Hoibie, Hoibie.

I will be 74 next month and I remember those things so clearly, but I can’t remember what I did five minutes ago. My younger sister is Janelle (Hongess) Bohrod and my brother is Ed Hongess.
