Obituary

Cameron Bolton was born on November 16th, 1995 in Fargo, ND to Sarah Fisher and Chris Bolton. He grew up in Horace, ND and resided in Fargo for the last few years of his life. Cameron attended West Fargo High School where he earned his high school diploma and NDSCS in Fargo where he earned an associates degree in business management and marketing.

Cameron worked at a dry wall and taping business through college and had started applying for jobs in which his degree and experience were applicable. He spent many summers working on his family farm, Hubbard Prairie Bean Corporation. He hoped to continue his education someday by attaining a Bachelor’s degree in project management.

Cameron had a spark for life and showed it through his numerous interests and hobbies. He was a passionate motor cross racer. He enjoyed mountain bikes and BMX, RC trucks, hunting, fishing, trap shooting, farming, watching hockey and spending time at the lake. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Family was Cameron’s priority in life. He was the middle of three siblings, his older sister Harmony Bolton (24) and younger brother Preston Bolton (19). He had five step siblings Katherine Fisher (20), Max Fisher (19), Jarrod Fisher (13), Jacob Fisher (13) and Alaina Fisher (11). He was the beloved uncle of Ezra Alm, who is the daughter of Harmony Bolton and Tyler Alm. His parents were, dad, Chris Bolton, mom, Sarah Fisher and step dad, Arlin Fisher. His girlfriend was Mary Gray. He spent time with his grandparents Arlan and Bonnie Kakac and Dennis and Eileen Bolton every chance he could.

Cameron was critically injured in a car accident that took place a few miles south west of Fargo on June 28th 2018. Cameron died of his injuries on July 2nd. He was gracious enough to donate his organs to others in need.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to one of Cameron’s favorite activities, trap shooting. Cameron has always had the desire to make trap shooting available to all, including individuals who cannot financially afford the sport. A collection box will be made available at Prairie heightsor cash or checks can be sent to:

7/5/’18 To Denny, Eileen and Chris and extended families and friends, My heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time. Cams life was taken way too soon but I believe God had other plans for Cam in heaven. Cams life will go on in others and he will be a shining star and light in heaven forever. I did not know Cameron personally but I knew his Grandparents and his father. Wonderful folks who have caring hearts and Cameron was that example of that. Cherish the memories of Cam and know he is at rest in heaven with Jesus and will sparkle from the heavens forever. With Peace, Love in the Lord and Prayers, Mark J.VonBank- Park Rapids, Minnesota.

You don’t know me but I followed the stories of Cameron after his accident. Just know that the community is hurting with you as well. So hard to hear the passing of such a young man. I hope you find peace in knowing he is in one of the best places 🙏🏼

My thoughts and prayer go out to the family and friends of Cameron. He was such a bright and sweet young man. I met Cameron a few times when he was little but I got to know him more as an adult while he worked at Taco Johns, he always had a smile on his face. Rest in peace Cameron you will greatly missed.

We have been following Cameron’s medical condition (s) and the pain all his family and friends have had to endure. As a parent I can’t imagine if I could even function! I only met Cameron a few times through my son. He was a very polite, charming and charismatic young man. The gift of life for others is so impressive! Our hearts are heavy for his entire family and friends. Life is short… Live like today is your last.

Cameron was quite the person. He always went out of his way to visit with our family when we were together. We feel like we are an extension of your family. Our boys were invited by Cameron and Preston to play on the trampoline and swing set. We will never forget Cameron and Preston playing Guitar Hero.
Cameron is probably making a good team with my dad, Lee, in heaven. My dad was good with carpentry and has renovated several homes with my younger brother, Jay. I have been told that my dad is “home” and that he is preparing a home for me and my family. I believe this is true with Cameron, too. He is preparing a home for the rest of your family with your grandma. That home will have a course for BMX bikes to ride on, just like the course that was provided for him as a teenager. For now, he will look over all of us and make more rainbows.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family of Cameron. We did not know Cameron but am proud to call Denny and Eileen our friends. It appears as though Cameron accomplished much in his short time on earth and had many loving relationships. We do know that he is with the Lord now and will be reunited with his loving family some day. Until that day, Cameron will live on through the people his organs help save and through the memories of his family. God bless you all.

My son, John Gowin, did some motocross racing & was fortunate to meet Cameron. My understanding is that Cameron was always welcoming & friendly to John. Upon learning of the accident, I know that John was worried about Cameron. Through organ donation, you have allowed Cameron’s spirit to be shared in the lives of others. During a time of such sadness you have lifted others. We have you in our thoughts & prayers.
