  29. Dear Geritz Family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Cam’s passing. I had the opportunity to work for Cam at Aerial Contractors the summer before I started college (1975). I have very fond memories of that summer – learning to climb electrical poles, cut down power line, pulling the poles with the front end loader, winding the wire, and, on occasion, climbing the 100 foot poles to adjust football stadium lights. Of course, the times when Cam would drive out to take the crew out to lunch or dinner were especially great as he always had such good stories. I’ve told my wife and all of my children at one time or another about what a great job that was and how fortunate I was to have a neighbor like Cam who was willing to give me a job when I had no experience. I will always be grateful to him. Please know that you have my wife’s and my deepest sympathies and that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

  30. So sorry to hear about Cameron. Prayers going out to the family. Cliff goes back to there times in FFA.in High school. Cam and Cliff graduated together.

  31. Cam has been one of our favorite people in our lives. We so enjoyed him and appreciate the opportunities, advice, friendship, and laughs he gave us. Our minds are flooded with memories of Cam and what he has meant to us and how he shaped our family’s lives. We are so sorry for his passing and extend our deepest sympathy to the entire Geritz family. He was one of a kind!

  32. Carol, Deanna and Dale – I am so sorry to hear about Cam’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Although it has been a long time since I have seen you, I still recall the fun times on Edgewood Drive and the joking around and ribbings from Mr. Geritz when I was a growing up.
May God Bless you and give you strength in this difficult time.

  33. My condolences to Carol and the family. I worked in the office with Cam at Aerial Contractors during the 1970’s. Cam was always kind and always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell!

  34. My sympathies extend out to the Geritz family during this difficult time. Cam was and will continue to serve as an inspiration in my life. I bought my first 2-cylinder John Deere when I was 12, and I didn’t know the tires from the steering wheel hardly. I was ready to give up on the whole thing, but then Cam came along. Cam approached me in a stern and business like manner and said “I’ll help you get this thing fixed up son.” It didn’t take me long to see how caring and generous of a man Cam was. We brought my tractor down to the shop at the lake and within one weekend, Cam fixed everything that I had worked on for months prior. The greatest thing he did, that I’ve come to appreciate more as the years have passed, was when we would fix one thing, he wouldn’t allow us to continue on to the next problem until I could explain back to him what the first problem was, and how to go about fixing it. He was a hard teacher, but a great one. To Cam fixing wasn’t enough though. Those that have seen Cam’s tractors knew that Cam loved his paint. Cam surprised me by painting my tractor for me. Everytime I look at that tractor, I am reminded of his generosity, patience, and care. To this day, I still attribute many of my successes and much of my tractor knowledge to Cam. As time went on, I was privileged to spend many hours with Cam at almost every tractor event within a 100 mile radius. He will definitely be missed.

  35. Jerome and Christine Schwartzenberger, Napoleon, offer their condolences to Carol and family
