Carlotta Larsen

Carlotta R. Larsen, 70, Colfax, ND passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services, Fargo surrounded by her family. She was born on October 6, 1944 in Fargo, ND to Edward and Anena (Gilbertson) Kummer. She attended school in Colfax, ND. She worked at Honeywell in Minneapolis, MN and Wahpeton Canvas in Wahpeton, ND. She married Kenneth Larsen on February 11, 1977 in South Dakota. They lived for a few years in Fargo at Oak Manor before moving to Denver, CO. They managed apartments in Denver before moving back to Colfax in 2003 where they retired. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in rural Walcott, ND. She had a special love for her nieces and nephews and she enjoyed shopping at West Acres and Walmart. She loved country and western music and playing Yahtzee. Carlotta is survived by her 3 sisters, Sharon (Jim) Neuerburg, Perham, MN, Cynthia (Ronald) Axt, Baltic, OH, Karen (Mark) George, Broomfield, CO; 4 brothers, Rodney (Joni) Kummer, Walcott, ND, Keith (Loraine) Kummer, Moorhead, MN, Ronald Pfeiff, Colfax, ND, Steve Pfeiff, Ogden, UT and daughter, Cecelia Soto, Denver, CO and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, sister, Darlene Walker, parents, Ed and Anena Kummer, step-mother, Laura Kummer, niece and Kimberly Axt.
