Carol Lindbo

A beautiful flower left this earth Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 4:30 AM. Carole Jean Lindbo was born on March 9, 1946 to Edwin and Isabelle (Olson) Lindbo in Rolla, N.D. She spent her youth on the family farm enjoying the animals. Carole was a Girl Scout. After graduating from Rolla High School, she went to Joseph’s School of Hair Design. She then worked at the NDSU Library which inspired her to go back to school. Carole graduated from NDSU with a degree in secondary education and CDFR. In her career, she was employed at Dakota Bank, Alcohol Outreach, Gambler’s Choice and Center for New Americans at Lutheran Social Services. She retired in 2007. Carole enjoyed caring for her cats and was an avid reader and flower gardener. She is survived by her sister, Roberta (Bobbi) Lindbo of Fargo, ND; brothers, Terry Lindbo of Rolla, ND, John (Janet) Lindbo and their daughter Jamie of Golden Valley, MN; and many friends especially the Tuesday Night Ladies Coffee Group. Carole was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Funeral: Thursday , November 19, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Burial: Rolla Cemetery, Rolla, ND.
