Charles ?Chuck? E. Morrow May 7, 1930 ? December 6, 2008 Chuck, 78, Fargo, ND, was born on May 7, 1930 in Carlisle, PA to Harvey and Elizabeth (Freeman) Morrow. Chuck served in the United States Air Force, joining in July 1946. He was stationed in Japan, Finley, ND, Korea, Guam and Rapid City, SD, serving in various military police security details. He married Queva Hanson from Hannaford, ND on May 23, 1953. He played baseball, bowled and played fast pitch softball during his years in the Air Force. He received a Diploma for Certification of Completion to the Strategic Air Command Noncommissioned Officers Academy. Chuck retired from the USAF as a Master Sergeant in 1966. After retiring from the USAF, he and his family relocated to Springfield, VA to start a new career working with the U.S. Postal Service as a carrier and supervisor from which he retired in 1988. During his time in Virginia, besides raising a family, he was involved with cub scouts, coaching baseball and baseball umpiring. He and Queva relocated to Fargo in 1989. Chuck was a member of the American Legion and the National Association of Letter Carriers. Chuck enjoyed traveling, reading, woodworking, writing the annual Christmas letter, family genealogy, canning, writing editorials (especially political) to the newspaper and attending the grandchildren?s sporting events. Chuck was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and he was dearly loved and will be sorrowfully missed by everyone, especially his loved ones. Chuck is survived by his wife, Queva of Fargo; children, Jennifer Morrow of Semora, NC, Jeffrey (Nancy) Morrow of Wahpeton, ND, Kevin (Karla) Morrow of Brookings, SD; two brothers, William (Eunice) Morrow and Herb Morrow of Carlisle, PA and six wonderful grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday, December 11 from 5-7 pm at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Prayer Service: Thursday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Service: Friday, December 12 at 11:00 am at Hope Lutheran Church, South Campus, Fargo. Arrangements entrusted to Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
