Charlotte passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 64. Charlotte Faye Remmick was born on October 13, 1951, the daughter of Louie and Elizabeth (Kubler) Remmick in Gackle, ND. She grew up in this area and moved with her family to West Fargo to complete her education. Charlotte graduated from West Fargo High School. She was united in marriage to David Lacher on November 21, 1970 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fargo. After his discharge from the United States Marine Corp they made their home in West Fargo. Charlotte worked for the West Fargo Pioneer and for many years at Southeast Human Services. Charlotte is survived by her husband, David of West Fargo; her son Brian Lacher of Fargo; her sisters – Debbie Remmick of Rockport, TX and Sheila (Bobby) Bucholtz of Fargo; her brother, Elroy (Avis) Remmick of West Fargo; her niece and best friend, Eileen Grossman and her beloved dog, Charlie; brothers-in-law, George (Paulette) Lacher and Joe Lacher; and several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Elizabeth Remmick; her in-laws, Eva and Remigus Lacher; and her sister, Delores Knaus. Charlotte will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. She was a loving person and good friend to many. “God’s Angel on Earth” VISITATION: 6-7 PM Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo – and also one hour prior to the service in the church on Saturday PRAYER SERVICE: 7 PM Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church FUNERAL MASS: 10 AM Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church BURIAL: Holy Cross North Cemetery in Fargo
