Clement N. Theisen, age 88, of Fargo, died on Friday, April 11, 2008 at Innovis Health, Fargo surrounded by his family. Clement was born on November 28, 1919 in St. Cloud, MN to Nicholas and Elizabeth Theisen. He graduated from Technical High School, St. Cloud in 1939. He moved to Minot, ND where he began his career in the electrical trade working for Minot Electric. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in May of 1942 spending a part of that time aboard the West Virginia in the South Pacific. After his discharge in Oct. 1945, he lived and worked in Portland, OR before moving to Fargo where he was employed by Junge Electric. Clement married Carol V. Rask on September 27, 1949 at St. Mary?s Cathedral in Fargo. In 1950 he began Modern Electric with his business partner, George Gauthier. He sold the business and retired in 1986 but continued working part-time. Clement was an avid reader and loved roses. He enjoyed riding bike and was a true Twins and Vikings fan. Clement had the gift of ?gab?. He loved to talk and loved little children. He was a member of the Elks Club, VFW Club, American Legion, Moose Club and Eagles Club in Fargo. Clement also served on the ND State Electrical Board for many years. He is survived by his wife: Carol; three children: Kenneth (Jacqueline) Theisen Anoka, MN, Elaine Theisen, Fargo, Shirley Sorensen (Jim) Fargo; grandson: Matthew Sorensen, Fargo; step grandson: Christian Sorensen, Omaha, NE; and one sister: Viola Norberg, Lake Oswego, OR. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; nine brothers; and two sisters. He will be missed very much by family and friends. Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and one hour before the funeral at the church. Prayer Service: 7:00 pm, Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo. Funeral: 10:00 am, Monday, April 14, 2008 at St. Mary?s Cathedral, Fargo, ND.
