Clifford Clyde Bauske, age 92, passed away January 13, 2020, at Eventide on 8th in Moorhead, MN. Clifford was born January 25, 1927, to Alonzo and Bertha (Klundt) at the family farm in Streeter, ND. He helped on the family farm and attended school locally until joining the Army at 18. He served in Germany during World War II. After returning home, he attended Hanson Mechanical Trade school in Fargo ND. He took his first job in Williston ND where he met his future wife, Darlene Ritzow. They were married in 1955 and soon after moved to Fargo where they started their family. He took a job at Swanston Equipment and later WW Wallworks. He remained at Wallworks until he retired from diesel mechanic work. After retiring he enjoyed collecting antique phonographs, going to auctions, tinkering on anything mechanical and most of all getting a good deal. He enjoyed meeting new people whether buying or selling. He especially enjoyed tending to his garden and sharing his crop. Family was very important to him and many vacations were spent visiting relatives near and far. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly fifty years, Darlene, his parents, brothers Wilbert and Vern, and son-in-law Timothy Sweeney. He is survived by his children Geraldine (Gregory) Nelson, West Fargo, Bruce (Sue), Fargo, Wesley (Janiece) Richmond, TX, Kimberly Sweeney, Fargo. Twelve grandchildren, Angela and Riley Nelson, Destini, Roberleigh, Kyrie, Catherine Bauske, Sally Nelles, Janelle, Brenden, Trey Bauske, Breanna and Benjamin Sweeney. Twelve great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Also brothers Robert, Marvin (Julie), Richard (Lois), Gary, sister Francis Hill, and sister in-law Sharon, and many extended family members. Funeral service at 2pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo, with visitation one hour prior. Burial following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.

    And he ( uncle Cliff) will be missed. He was a good friend and brother in law to my mom (Nyla Ritzow Johnson ) and i know she is going to miss him and his sense of humor. He always let mom know what was going on in his life and his childrens lives. He was very proud of you all. My heart and prayers are with you all. Rest in peace dear uncle.💙😢

  5. Just found out Cliff passed away! Really would have wished to attend funeral but weather & streets are not cooperating today. Interesting that Cliff & Kenny passed away about the same time of year. Many memories of the times we all got together. Many & many Saturday nites of being together & after wrestling was over those two old friends would then begin visiting! May he Rest In Peace!
