Dale D. Cormican, 77, Mentor, MN formerly Crookston, MN passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at Essentia Health, Fargo. Dale was born June 16, 1944 in Warren, MN to Laverne and Lillian (Teal) Cormican. He attended school in Euclid, MN and the North West School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN. He married Sandra Stine on August 17, 1962 in Crookston, MN. He worked for the State of Minnesota as a diesel mechanic before going to work at Arctic Cat in their Race Department where he was also a successful snow mobile racer for many years. He operated his own Motorcycle Store, Cormican’s Kawasaki, before starting his own Construction Company. He was a friend to many having created relationships with both young and old. He was a wealth of knowledge on many subjects and could easily think outside of the box. He could always be found tinkering and inventing new equipment. His passion was work and always wanted to be kept busy. In 1996, Sandra and Dale moved to their current home Maple Lake, Mentor, MN. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra, Mentor, MN; children, Shawn (Lisa) Cormican, Crookston, MN, Brandon (Stephanie) Cormican, Mentor, MN; brother, Leroy “Skip” (Kathy) Cormican, Battle Ground, WA, sister, Marilyne Cormican, Bemidji, MN; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Della Montreuil. Celebration of Dale’s Life: 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Church of Christ, Crookston, MN.   11. I don’t know how in the world I missed this notice. Dale and I beat up the trail to the Twin Cities many times . He won it and I followed behind picking up the parts. Spent time together at West Yellowstone,where he set a number of speed records. It is just plain sad that we didn’t keep in touch. Sandy you have Carol and My sympathy and Love.
