Daniel G. Bringe, 74, died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 in his home under the care of Hospice. Dan was born July 18, 1929 in Melrose, MN where he grew up and graduated from high school. He was a Paratrooper with the Army 11th Airborne and served in the occupation of Japan after World War II, from 1947-1948. Dan married Joan Tembrock October 10, 1950 in Melrose. They moved to Duluth, MN where he worked as warehouse foreman for Lloyd Currie and Sons. In 1962 they moved to Fargo where he worked for Frank McKone Cigar Company, then sold securities for IDS and West America. He returned to McKone Cigar Company until his retirement in September 2001. He is survived by his wife, Joan; a son, James, Fargo, ND; two daughters, Karen Aske, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mary Adams, St. Paul, MN; three grandchildren; two brothers; and four sisters. Dan has donated his body to the University of North Dakota School of Medicine for research, and at his request no service will be held. Arrangements: Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo.
