Darlene Richman Hledik

Darlene R Richman Hledik, 67, passed away November 23, 2006 at Meritcare Hospital, Fargo. Darlene Hledik was born to John and Lillian Hledik on October 27, 1939 in El Monte, California. She came to the Dickinson, North Dakota area as a child. Darlene attended school in Dickinson, graduating from High School and Dickinson State Teachers College. After graduation she taught in Tower City, North Dakota for a year. Darlene Hledik and Willard Richman were married in Dickinson, ND on July 1, 1961. They lived in Buffalo, ND before moving to Montpelier, ND, where they farmed for 22 years. She was active in Montpelier Lutheran Church and the Montpelier School District as substitute teacher for a number of years. Darlene was also active as a 4H leader and in Homemakers in Montpelier. They moved to Chandler, Arizona where they lived for 4 years before returning to Tower City, ND. Darlene came to Fargo about 11 years ago. Darlene Hledik and E.J. Steagall were married in Moorhead, Mn on April 5, 2004. She is survived by her Husband E.J. Steagall, Fargo, ND Daughter Shelly Richman Sanchez, Chico City, Ca. Son Michael John Richman, Fargo Daughter Joni (Paul ) Richman Thomson, Waldorf, Md. 2 grandchildren Parker Thomson and Makenzie Thomson She was preceded by her parents; 2 brothers, and one sister Memorial Service 11:30 A.M.
