David Watkins

David B. Watkins, 46, Moorhead, Minnesota died July 16, 2003, in Fargo under hospice care. David Bruce Watkins was born January 30, 1957, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to William H. and Helen (Hokenson) Watkins. He lived with his parents in Alaska, Washington State, Kansas, North Dakota, and England. He completed high school in Fergus Falls, MN. He then attended Fergus Falls Community College before graduating from Moorhead State University. He returned to Fergus Falls and lived there until 1995 when he returned to this area. He began work with Access Inc., and then moved to Friendship Inc. where he continued to work with people with disabilities, and was employed there at the time of his death. David B. Watkins married Jeanne Witt in the Meritcare Chapel, Fargo, on May 31, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; stepdaughter, Rajean Witt-Thomas; parents, Bill and Helen Watkins, Fergus Falls; brother, Billy (Laurel) Watkins, Baltimore, Maryland; sister, Elizabeth (Tom Huberty) Watkins, Minneapolis, MN; two nieces, Ruth and Emma; and mother-in-law, Louise Witt, Bemidji, MN.
