Debra Lynn Rabbe, 65, Fargo, ND passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 surrounded by her family at Eventide in Moorhead. She was born on September 24, 1952 in Conrad, MT to Calvin and Inez (Forbes) Collings. Debbie grew up in Culbertson, MT and attended Culbertson High School. On September 13, 1969, she was united in marriage to Gary Rabbe in Williston, ND. The couple made their home in Williston where they raised their two children. The family moved to Fargo in 1988. Debbie worked as a housekeeper at various nursing homes and hotels. In Williston she was employed at Bethel Lutheran Home. Debbie worked at Eventide Lutheran Home until 1991 when she retired because of injuries sustained in a car accident. She was a member of Metropolitan Baptist in Fargo. Debbie loved going on car rides and spending time with her family. Debbie is survived by her husband of 48 years, Gary; son, Daryn Rabbe; daughter, Rachel (Tom) Monson; siblings, Bruce (Karen) Collings, Karen Collings, and David Collings; aunt, Margaret Forbes; and grandchildren, Sammy, Kyla, Conner and Vivian. She was preceded in death by her parents; and uncles, John and Bill.

  4. Gary and family, I and very sad to read about Debbie’s passing. I would like to share a scripture that could be of comfort to those who miss her, Corinthians 15:26 says “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing” by God. what beautiful words for all of us whom have lost a loved one! God has also promised that we will see those we have lost again (John 5:28,29) Hold on to these promises as they will come true, I will include you and your family in my prayers.

  6. We know it is so hard to lose someone we love so much. She is at peace in Heaven as those left behind look for that peace and comfort. Praying God will grant that peace and comfort as you heal your hearts from the loss of your devoted wife and mother.
