  3. Arlington VATo all of the Bassett family: We were saddened to learn yesterday from Fargo friends of your mother’s death. As you know, she was a very special person and important in the lives of so many of us, especially my mother Ted Olson the last ten years of her life. Her positive spirit and wonderful smile will always remain in my heart. My sympathy to you all.

  4. Wolf Creek MTWe were saddened to learn that our Dear Della has left us. She was a very important woman in our lives (Eva Owens’ family), and we all loved her. We send our thanks to you for sharing her with us for so many years. Please know that she is in our hearts and prayers, and we will always love her and miss her.

  5. San Diego Jim and Judy and family,
I am saddened by the news that your mom is no longer with you, and us, on this earth. I recall many of our childhood escapades as neighbor kids growing up. All of us kids left home, but the friendship between your mom and our mom, has blessed my sisters and I for eternity. Those two continued an everlasting friendship. The love your mom showed during our mom’s latter years does not go unnoticed. Your mom was there for every need. Shopping, cleaning, driving to doctors, and just offering love during a visit or a phone call. I will miss my visits to her in Fargo. She was such a loving person. May our Lord grant you peace and comfort at this time of sorrow. May He bring to remembrance all the great times that you had with your mom in this life when you reflect on her life in your personal moments. Keep living life as she would want you to knowing that you will see her again in the life we all look forward to! May God bless you.

  6. Bismarck ND
Della was my friend. She was my mother Myrtle Knutson’s friend. They shared so much of each other’s lives. Myrtle passed away in 2005.
Jim, you have my condolences, as do your other family members.
At Christmastime, Della made so many homemade treats. I got to sample them every year. What a special lady she was! She and Don were our next door neighbors on 13th Street in Fargo.
Della helped my mother with so many things, but the best thing was in sharing her life and friendship.

    Sincerely with love,
    Carole Knutson Hulm

  7. Pagosa Springs ColoradoI was saddened to hear of the passing of this wonderful woman! Della was a dear friend of our whole family – but especially dear to my mother, Myrtle Knutson. My sisters, brother, and I grew up with Jim and Judy as all neighborhood kids did “back in the day” – playing long hours outside, in and out of one another’s homes, and passing time when our mothers enjoyed each other’s company!
Della was so willing to help my mother in her last years, cleaning, assisting, and just being her friend. It is hard to see the years go by, with age taking its toll – and God calling dear people home to Him!
God be with you, Jim and Judy, and all the family in the days ahead. May His comfort and peace surround you!

  8. Judy and family,

    So sorry for your loss.
I so enjoyed visiting with your Mom at the sales and homemakers. She was a really neat lady.
My sympathy, thoughts and prayers to you during this sad and difficult time.
May you share many Christmas memories of the good times with your Mom during the next few days. God Bless.

    Love, Shelley Weidner
