Delores Gunderson
August 23, 1920 ~ December 8, 2015
Delores L. Gunderson died on December 8, 2015 at the Halstad Living Center in Halstad, MN at the age of 95.
She was born on the farm on August 23, 1920 near Buxton, ND. Delores was united in marriage to Wilfred Gunderson and they had one son who survived only 15 days. They belonged to Grue Lutheran Church where Delores was very active. She stayed busy on the farm and also worked at Knutsvig Grocery Store in Buxton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Agnes Nettum; her husband and infant son, Gary Myles; her sister, Myrtle Brokke; and her brothers – Howard, Arvid, Lynn, LeRoy, Vance, and Vernon
She is survived by 16 nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Wildeman-Boulger Funeral Home in Hillsboro with visitation beginning at 9 AM. Burial will be held at the East Immanuel Cemetery near Buxton, ND

Delores, my husband Bob Biglow’s aunt, was always so very gracious and loving to the 3 of us. Before we had ever met face-to-face, she wrote sweet, caring letters and cards and always sent Becky, our daughter, a small
gift at Christmas. We had maintained a card/note relationship for years and I have missed that connect in the
recent times. I am certain she will be much missed by those who cared for and about her.

Delores was a good friend of my mother for many years !!! When I was a kid,( 60 years ago ) we would go on occasion to their farm by Buxton for an afternoon of visiting. She and Mom kept in contact for many years and enjoyed her friendship !!! She was a beautiful person !!!
