DeLoris Neidhard, 91, passed away peacefully May 15, 2015 at Villa Maria Health System in Fargo. DeLoris was born on October 30, 1923 in ST. Cloud, MN to Joseph and Kathryn Joehren. She graduated from Cathedral High School and attended St. Cloud Business College. DeLoris worked as a secretary in Washington, D.C. before moving to CA in 1943. She married George Neidhard in May of 1947. DeLoris was a legal secretary in Lancaster, CA until retiring in 1978. She and George then moved to Redding, CA. George passed away in 1989. DeLoris moved to Fargo in 2003 where she enjoyed her time and her good friendships at Riverview Place for the next eight years. She has been well cared for at the Villa for almost two years. DeLoris loved activity, playing golf, RVing, working cross word puzzles, playing the piano, camping, fishing, cards and just having fun. She was passionate about traveling and saw many parts of the world from Germany to New Zealand, to China, Greece, and many more. Each trip was her favorite. Most of all she loved to laugh. She will be greatly missed. DeLoris is survived by her son, Anthony (Suzanne) Neidhard; grandchildren Tamara (Chris) Yates, Ryan (Angela) Neidhard, Katie Neidhard; and seven great grandchildren, all living in St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Lucille (Sidney) Veto, Denver, CO, Patricia Winter, Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Dee. DeLoris was preceded in death by her husband George, her parents; two sisters, Gloria Lynch, and Rosemary Milner; three brothers-in-law, Frank Lynch, Emmett Milner, and LeRoy Winter; and by her beloved dog, MINDY. A Funeral Service will b held at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1;00 to 2:00 p.m. The family is grateful to the staff at Villa Maria for the kindness and respect always shown to DeLoris and her family. You truly live out your mission of providing care and comfort. Thank you to Hospice of the Red River Valley for your help in her final days. And a special thank you to Riverview Place and to our family and friends for their love and support on this journey.
