Denise Marchus, of West Fargo, North Dakota, passed away on May 3, 2022, at her home in West Fargo, ND at the age of 60. Denise Darlene Marchus was born on May 14, 1961, the daughter of Lyle and O’Della (Robinson) Marchus in Rugby, North Dakota. She lived in Leeds, North Dakota with her family until moving to Fargo 1966 where she attended school until graduating from Fargo North High School. She went on to cosmetology school and later in life worked for Industrial Builders of Fargo. Denise was blessed with one son, Alexander Marchus of Lake Park, Minnesota – he was the apple of her eye. Denise was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Diane. She is survived by her son, Alex; her brother, David Marchus; and her sister, Debra Stickel – both of Fargo. Also surviving are her nieces – Christine, Kathy, and Erica; and her nephew, Dillon. Denise will also be dearly missed by her special friend, Tom Moe of West Fargo; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Memorial Service: 1 PM Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo – with a gathering one hour prior Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center in Fargo.   4. Denise, miss you. So many fun memories. Getting busted by your dad listening to tunes in his patrol car at a party you had. Guess I should have turned the station back to what he was listening too😎. RIP my friend.

  5. Denise was one of my BFFs in high school. I still remember the first day I met her. I was new and she readily accepted me into her group. From that day forward I was invited to every event and she introduced me to so many people.
    We recently spent time together a few years ago and picked up right where we left off! She was kind, fun and a great friend. She looked out for me. And, she photographed a great black and white of me which she framed. So thoughtful!! I will miss you Denise. 💕

  6. Denise was a student of mine at Fargo North High School. She was an excellent student and a young lady who stood up for what she believed in. My condolences to Alex and the rest of the family. She was a special lady.

  7. I am so very sad to hear of Denise’s passing. I got to know Denise when our kids were little, spending time together with Alex at Lyle and Della’s or hanging out at her home. Our daughter Hayley adored her! She will really be missed!

  10. I was blessed to know Denise for many years as our fathers worked together on the highway patrol. We shared many fun times together over the years, particularly at the farm riding horseback, playing the barn game and fishing. Also many fun times at the lake jet skiing and riding on the pontoon. I was so sorry to hear of her passing and my prayers go out to Alex and all her family and friends. May she continue to shine. Rest in peace my dear.
