Dolores A. Fritz, 77 was called home to heaven on Friday, October 31st, 2008. Dolores was born on March 4, 1931 in Fargo to Agnes(Joyal) and Alfred Trottier. She grew up on the family farm near Horace, ND and graduated from High School at St. Josephs School in St. Benedict, ND. After high school Dolores moved to Breckenridge, MN and worked for two years at St. Francis Hospital. Dolores then moved back to Fargo to attend Interstate Business College and help on the family farm. Upon graduating, she worked for the Minnesota Farm Bureau chemical plant. Dolores met the love of her life Matthew Fritz and they were united in Marriage at St. Benedicts Church in Wild Rice, ND on June 22nd, 1957. Dolores? greatest gifts were those she shared with her family. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her days. Dolores and Matthew were founding members of The Church of The Nativity in Fargo where Dolores was active in the parish prayer chain for many years. In addition, she volunteered at The Nativity Elementary School. Dolores was a sweet, softhearted woman who was more concerned about others than herself. She was a woman of strong Christian faith that she lived every day. She created a beautiful home with many traditions including flower gardens that she and Matthew spent their summers working in. She enjoyed attending sporting events to watch her grandsons play baseball, soccer, basketball and football. She is survived by her husband Matthew, daughter Patty Fritz, son Jason Fritz, son Steve Fritz, and his wife Diane and their children Andrew, Lucas and Jacob. She is also survived by sisters Carol Trottier, Fargo and Marilyn (Deni) Hagge, Springfield, Ohio, Her brothers Raymond (Carol Lee) Trottier, Arizona, Gerald (Jean) Trottier, Arizona, LeRoy (Mae) Trottier, Bismarck, Dennis (Cloy) Trottier, Kentucky, David Trottier, Arizona, Richard (Linda)Trottier, Fargo, Ronald (Sherri) Trottier, Horace. Her sisters in law Magdeline Stringer, West Fargo, Ann Candor, Fargo, Sharon Fritz, Fargo, Ilene (Ted)Warren, Fargo; Brothers in law Bud (Lola) Fritz, Fargo, Larry (Judy) Fritz, Fargo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is proceeded in death by her beloved mother and father, and several brothers in law and sisters in law. Memorials are preferred to Father Jack Davis Mission, C/O Nativity Church, Fargo and Hospice of the Red River Valley. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Nativity Catholic Church. There will be a Prayer Service in the church at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday in the church and one hour before the funeral in the church. Burial will be at Holy Cross South, Fargo.
