Donald passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, at his home, near Kindred, ND.
Donald Charles Weeks was born on November 7, 1947, the son of Ervin and Clara (Hanson) Weeks, in Nevis, MN. He grew up in Fargo where he received his education. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1968 until 1970. Following his discharge, he returned to North Dakota.
Don was united in marriage to Diane Covell on October 16, 1976, in Fargo. They made their home near Harwood, ND. Donald worked as a Pipe Insulator for many years throughout tri-state area.
Donald is survived by his wife, Diane of rural Kindred, ND; his sisters - Charlotte Gilji of Washington; Karen (Harold) Bradsteen of Moorhead, MN; Judy (Lance) Gunderson of Frazee, MN; and his brother, Jerry (Patricia) Weeks of Fargo, ND. Also surviving are his daughter, Christina (Jerry) Belling of Walcott, ND; and his grandchildren - Madelaine and Dane; and several nieces and nephews and many other very dear relatives.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Clara; and his siblings – Harold Weeks, Robert “Bob” Weeks, David Weeks, and Colleen Gilmore.
Funeral Service: 2 PM Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Boulger Funeral Home in Fargo – with visitation one hour prior to the service – everyone is welcome to attend – for those unable it will be livestreamed on the funeral home website
Burial will take place at 1 PM Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Fargo National Cemetery, near Fargo, with Military Honors.

Living in Washington, I was happy to get to talk to my cousin Don on the phone. I was sad to hear of his passing. I hope time will heal and your family and friends give you the support and love. Take care and God bless.

I miss my brother Don so much. We used to talk at least once or twice a week. Sometimes more. He was a very special person. We spent summer days at the lake until he didn’t feel well.
