Donald Draper

Donald L. Draper, Sr., 77 of Fargo, died Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Innovis Hospital, Fargo, surrounded by his loving family. Donald Leroy Draper was born on July 16, 1928 to Earl and Rosetta (Wilson) Draper in Fargo and attended school in Fargo. He worked as a truck driver for Dakota Transfer and served in the US Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean War. Donald married Juliann Mears on July 6, 1963. He was also employed with several other trucking lines, retiring from Century Mercury in 1990. Donald also served as an usher at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob, Earl Jr., and Duane; his daughter, Roxann and a niece, Sandra. Donald is survived by his wife, Juliann of Fargo; sons Darrel (Brenda) of Fargo, Donald, Jr. (Kim) of West Fargo; sisters, Elaine Vogel of Fargo, Laura Olson of Minneapolis; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 18 from 4-7 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo and also one hour prior to the service in the church. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo. Burial will be in Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo.
