  1. Sorry to hear about Donald Jar. Donny as us kids called him when he was driving bus was one of my favorite bus drivers. He knew I like windmills and weather so every time I talked to him he would bring that up. He was a very nice man and will be missed. Prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

  2. I enjoyed sitting for over 25 years by Don in the Ulen Band with his baritone and my trombone. We always had a nice visit between songs. We have been blessed with his presence.// Dr. Paul Hendrickson

  3. John, I first knew you from our outreach team “New Creation” at Concordia and then became friends with Don & Clarice at Peace Lutheran Church. They were special to our family as our son’s mentors during confirmation. We have been blessed by the Jahr family. Now, in Christ, Don is a New Creation and is with his beloved Clarice and his Lord & Savior. Love to you, John!

  4. Our family was blessed by Uncle Don’s presence! He was a wonderful Dad for Gib,Marsha & Julie and when he and Auntie Clarice had John we were so happy for them! His love of music not only blessed his family it blessed us in countless ways. We were proud of his singing and instrumentals. Uncle Don’s love of family was evident from the way he interacted with all of us. We’re going to miss him but the amazing memories we have of the fun times we’ve shared will never be forgotten. Heaven surely needed another talented angel…

  5. I have good memories visiting with Don and Clarice on their farm.
    Don will be missed.

    My love to the family.

    Melanie Berg
