Donald Klose, 79, passed away February 26, 2019 at Elim Care Center, Fargo. Donald was born January 2, 1940 to Bernard and Susan (Stampka) Klose in Jamestown, ND. Don was the most dedicated honest man that those who knew him could attest to. Donald Worked at Mills Mutual as an insurance agent for 45 years. There he made lifelong friends whom he treasured. Don loved the lakes and our cabin was constantly a congregation of friends and family almost every weekend. Don could be spotted most times mowing the large lawn gardening and fishing. He will be greatly missed. Donald is survived by his wife, Evangeline; sons, Brian (Dana) Klose of Saint Charles, Illinois, Bradley of Fargo, ND, Jeffrey (Carrie) Klose of Lakeville, MN; and 9 Grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his parents.

  6. Donnie and I started 1st grade together and finished up together in Buchanan. He was a great and fun guy. Prayers and good thoughts go to you Vangie and your boys.

  8. I can’t remember a time that he wasn’t smiling ear to ear… with a kind and encouraging word. He and Van were so kind to all of the boys friends, and I was lucky to be one of them! Love and prayers to Van and the boys. RIP Don
