Donald Lachowitzer

Donald Lachowitzer, 91, Fargo, ND passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Villa Maria. Don was born on February 12, 1928 in Dent, MN to Alfred and Esther Lachowitzer. On January 16, 1951 he enlisted in the US Army and served until 1953 when he was honorably discharged. He married Annetta Ertman in 1954 and the couple made their home in Fargo. They had a son Jeffrey Donald Lachowitzer on March 10, 1955. He went home to be with his Lord on December 30, 1990. Don worked as a pipe fitter and later owned and operated Lachowitzer Parking Lot Maintenance. He took care of the Fargo Public Schools parking lots and football fields for 15 years. Don was known as a smart and capable man who could do anything but was always very humble. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annetta; and son, Jeffrey.
