Donald Partlow

Donald Leroy Partlow, 57, 413 22nd Street S., Fargo, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, in Innovis Health, Fargo. Donald was born April 24, 1945, in Fargo, ND, the son of Fred and Jeanette Partlow of Bordulac, ND. He grew up in the Bordulac area. He attended Shanley High School in Fargo for two years, and graduated from Bordulac High School in 1963. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving from 1963-1967. While in the corps, he served two tours in VietNam. He was a member of the Fargo Police Department from 1968-1973. He left the force and worked for American Freight until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of the Teamsters 116. He married Sonja Heaton on October 8, 1982, in Moorhead, MN. He is survived by his wife, Sonja; daughters, Carol (Matt) Souder, Frederick, Maryland, Leslie (Shane) Rohrich, Fargo; mother, Jeanette; sister, Carol Johansen, Fargo; brothers, Fred, Poplar Bluffs, MO, Mark (Shirley), Carrington, ND, and David (Sue), Fargo; eight grandchildren; and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred, and an infant son, Josh Eric. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM in Calvary United Methodist Church, Fargo. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 PM in Boulger Funeral Home, Fargo, with a prayer service at 7 PM. Burial will be 3 PM Tuesday in the Carrington, ND, Cemetery. Arrangements by Boulger Funeral Home.
