Donald F. Schock, 64, Fargo, ND, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at MeritCare Hospital.
Donald F. Schock the son of Fed & Anita (Kemph) Schock was born October 31, 1942 in Ashley, ND. He grew up on a farm near there and graduated from Ashley High School. After graduation from high school, he joined the U. S. Army and was stationed in Germany. After his discharge, he attended Bismarck Junior College and graduated with a business degree. He worked for Hart Motor Express in Grand Forks, ND. He married Audrey M. Corcoran on December 28, 1968 in Fargo. The couple lived in Grand Forks until 1981 when they moved to Fargo. He worked for Consolidated Freightways until 1987. He then went to work for Lewis Truck Lines where he worked until 1993 when he joined Quast Transfer, which later was named Vitran Express. He retired from Vitran Express in 2004.
Donald is survived by his wife, Audrey; his son, Tom (Steph), Fargo, ND; his daughter, Sheila (Rod) Knutson, Olathe, Kansas; 2 grandchildren , James Schock and Brady Knutson; his sister, Sylvia Sande, San Diego, CA; his brother, Vernon Schock, Ashley, ND; his father and mother-in-law, Tom and Helen Corcoran, Fargo, ND.
