Donna J. Anderson, 62, Kindred, ND died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Pallative Care, MeritCare, Fargo, ND. Donna Jean Anderson, child of God, born February 26, 1944 left us to be with her Lord and Savior on October 26, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents Avery and Adeline Anderson of Walcott, ND, grandparents Axel and Anna Anderson of Walcott, Sven and Sigrid Severson of Davenport, ND and by loved and loving aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of her family. Donna is survived by her maternal aunts, Margaret Elliott (Maclean) of Lompoc, CA, Mary Severson of Deerwood, MN and Carol Severson of Lacey, WA. Paternal surviving aunts are Marion (Anderson) Davis of Glendale, CA and Helen Anderson of Arlington, TX. Also surviving are cousins, other relatives and many friends, especially Louise Lunder, Clarice Cramer and Paula Erickson. Donna?s Pastor Lee Hoops was a special friend and counselor in her last months. Donna attended rural school and Kindred school. She lived in her family home until her father?s death in 1992. She then moved to Kindred, where she lived happily with her cat, Snowflake. Many dear friends helped make her life joyous with trips, parties, gatherings and mainly with church activities. Donna?s faith was the focal point of her life. She was a lifelong member of West Prairie Lutheran Church, where she was baptized, confirmed, and where she received the promises of God?s grace, forgiveness and eternal life. May her memory be blessed. Memorials may be given to Hospice of the Red River Valley, Doves and the American Cancer Society. The celebration of her life will be Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 11:00 am at West Prairie Lutheran Church, rural Kindred.. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm at Fredrikson Funeral Chapel, Kindred on Monday, October 30th with visitation from 5-7:00pm at Fredrikson?s Funeral Chapel and 1 hour before the service on Tuesday at West Prairie.
