Donna Louise (Surerus) Sandgren, 76, passed away February 2, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 24, 1935 in Cavalier, ND to parents, Ernest and Myrtle Surerus.  She was raised with three brothers, Earl (Marilyn) Surerus, Milt (Bonnie) Surerus, Howard Surerus and two sisters, Betty (Neil) McGillivray and Ruth Demars.  She was dearly loved by all her nieces and nephews.

She raised three children, Patti (Bill) Bergeth, Tom (Pat) Sandgren and Susie Nyberg.  In addition to her children, she was blessed with eight grandchildren, Katie and Christine Bergeth, Mike (Kristen) and Kristi Sandgren, and Josh and Steph Nyberg, Jim (Jill) Faser and Jackie Faser; and great grandchildren, Xavier Cole, Payton Johnson, Ian Sandgren, Tray Weaver, Jessica Faser.

Donna was the most giving, loving person.  She was a comfort to all who knew her and she never "met" a stranger.  She was an extremely hard worker and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She was the center of our family and she was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

The family would prefer memorials to Elim Rehab and Care Center or the Alzheimer's Association.
