Dorothy Clemenson

Dorothy Clemenson, 83, Moorhead, MN passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Eventide Nursing Home in Moorhead. She was born on September 4, 1934 on the farm in Armourdale Township, ND to Ole and Grace (Blackorby) Peterson. Dorothy was baptized in Hansboro Lutheran Church by Reverend Braun. She attended school at Hansboro, ND through the 8th grade then graduated from Rolla High School in 1952. She attended Dakota Business College in Fargo. She worked at Union Stockyards and Central Electric as a bookkeeper. On September 16, 1956 Dorothy was united in marriage to Marvin Oscar Clemenson. She was employed by American Crystal for over 20 years. Dorothy was also the scorekeeper for the Horace Softball Team. She was a member of First Lutheran in Fargo, then Trinity in Moorhead, and finally Bethlehem Lutheran in Fargo. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Marvin; son, Ryan Douglas Clemenson; grandchildren, Sommer (Greg Schafer) Clemenson and Francis (Jolene Bindner) Pusok; 8 great-grandchildren; Caitlin Clemenson, Jacob Clemenson, Carson Schafer; Tyler, Elizabeth, Kimberly, Tiffany, Bridgett and Francis Pusok Jr,.; 1 great- great-grandchild, Avery Clemenson. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Anne Clemenson.
