  4. 23 August 2021 my condolences to Dorothy’s family and friends. People come into and out of our lives for different reasons and circumstances. Thank you for sharing Dorothy with so many. Accept my apologies for such a late entry. I came across Dorothy’s name on some canceled checks from 1983 & 1984. The name was so familiar. She was my Avon lady. I believe she had been dropping in on my mom Judy at my childhood home at the corner of 3rd Ave N and 16th st, Fargo. (The house is no longer there, but the memories live on.) I’d pop over when Dorothy was coming over to my folks. She was very friendly and gracious. I’m not sure how the visits started, but my dad was Reuben Meyers and had worked at NDSU for 45 years, retiring in 1981. Ironically, it states that Dorothy worked in the dining hall at NDSU. My youngest daughter attended NDSU and is starting a new job, in the DINING HALL in the upcoming weeks.

Thank you for allowing me to share.

    Condolences and god bless.
