  1. Audubon MN
Tracy Kay, I have the most wonderful memories of all of the wonderful Sveen Family! Mom always refered to your lovely Mother as… “My friend Dorothy” or just “Dort”. I know she thought of her like a sister. I remember when Mom died 3 years ago you wrote us the most heartfelt message which mean’t so much to us. Losing these fine ladies is so difficult. I still talk to Mom everyday. Please convey our deepest sympathy to the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I am sharing your tears. Love, Connie

  2. Detroit Lakes MN
We have so many special memories with the Sveen family. Dorothy was always so kind and loving to all of us. There was nobody like her she was such a kind, vibrant presence. She was almost like a movie star to us. Our mother Elda felt the closest to her out of all of her friends and they went very far back. We hold the Sveen family in our hearts and know that we are thinking of you all.

    Sherry, Margo and all

  3. I was a neighbor of Dorothy and Lloyd Sveen on Third Street North in Fargo, North Dakota in the 1950s. Lloyd was the Executive Editor at the Fargo Forum Newspaper. Their son, Bradley, became infected with polio. His treatment included living in an Iron Lung and he died in 1962 at the age of 18. His death was a tragic loss for the family and an emotional life memory for me.
