  2. Park River My condolences to the family for their loss. I knew Doug for just a little while when I was at RDO. He was a great guy to be around and one that would take the time to help a person learn what to do and how to do it right in the shop. i remember sitting around the table at lunch and he would talk of his family with great fondness. He will be greatly missed by many.

Shock and sorrow touched me when Dick Weber called to tell me of Doug’s passing. Many years ago I was elated when we had the opportunity to hire Doug in the infancy of RDO. He was always interested in helping customers even when the weather was terrible and was always concerned about making our company better. It was fun to see the relationship develop between Doug and Dustin – a fond memory of mine. My condolences to all of Doug’s family. He was a good man and a friend.

I am so saddened to hear of your great loss. When I worked at RDO with Doug, he was a great coworker. Many people will miss him, but not as much as his loved ones. Also take comfort in knowing that God only takes the best. Cherish his memory forever.

  9. Fargo NdTo the Loomis Family we are saddened to hear about Doug. I am going to miss our “shop chats” in the alley between our homes. He was a GREAT neighbor and will be missed by all of us.

So sad to hear the news of our friend Doug leaving so soon. Our deepest sympathy to all the Loomis Family….Dougy had a heart of gold, always made me laugh whenever I ran into him in the back working on a piece of equipment, or in his service truck out working in the field, and most recently behind the parts counter. I had the pleasure of working with Doug for many years, you could always count on Doug as a friend, coworker and all around great guy! He will be missed……….

So sorry to hear about Doug. I had the opportunity to work with Doug at RDO and he was a large asset to the construction companies out there with his knowledge and caring for the customers. He will truly be missed but touched so many lives in his journey here on earth. Prayers to his family and may his memories bring you peace at this sad time.

  12. Ottertail mnWow Doug..When we were up at RDO on our birthday, December 10, I never planned to talk to you this way. You have helped out Mike and all the guys at Ottertail Aggregate so much, we don’t know what to do without you. I’m glad we had the chance to talk about your wife and your kids and Bingo! I remember giving you a big hug last winter when you “helped” me load a heavy cutting edge into Mike’s pickup. It was freezing cold out and I just sat in the warm pickup while you did all the work! Ottertail Aggregate and Mike and Amy will miss you so much. Hugs to your family.
