  2. Raeder Family,
So sorry for the loss of Duaine, I considered him to be one of the family and grieve with you in his loss, he was quite a person with a huge Heart and would help anyone who needed it, I will miss him calling me Corky whenever he saw me as he was the only one who ever did and will cherish that forever, it made me feel like one of his kids.
    Love to All ♥♥♥

  3. Knowing that uncle Duane was going to be at a family event always insured that there would be good stories, good laughs, and his friendly booming voice. One of my earliest memories of Duane was when he let me drive (actually, steer) his tractor—quite a heady experience for a 7-year-old! “Just keep that wheel in that groove there,” he said, and we were off. I like to think that we both relished the fact that it made my dad nervous. It’s my first (and I think only) memory of driving a tractor. He will be missed.

  4. We will surely miss our neighbor, long time friend and family member. He would do anything for anybody. Always had time for a visit. What a great man. He was known well for his hugs. You all have been a big part of our family since I can remember. If there’s anything we can do for you please let us know. You had a wonderful husband and father. God bless.

  5. I remember combining with Uncle Duaine and him letting me steer it. Then he had me hop out and move a grain truck from one end of the field to the other. I told him I didn’t know how, and he gave me a crash course in what the 3 pedals did. I fondly remember him saying you aren’t going to hit anything, so it will be alright. After I got the truck moving, I remember thinking this is kind of fun, to be bouncing around in the cab driving through the field. And I made just fine like he said. I don’t remember how old I was when this happened but I know I didn’t have a drivers license.
Thanks Duaine for the fun times, you will be greatly missed.

  6. I am so sorry to hear of Duaine’s passing. I actually never met him but being friends with Yvonne I heard lots of wonderful stories. I know he will be missed so much. The memories you all have will keep him close. My prayers are with you.

  7. I am so sorry for your loss. My love and prayers are with all of you. Uncle Duane will be missed.

  8. So very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember being at Alda & Duane’s wedding in our church at Vang. I was so happy to be able to be there for such a grand and wonderful occasion. I remember when Helga and I stayed with you when we went to the Luther League convention at Concordia College. We had a wonderful time. Duane will be missed by all his family and friends. May God bless your memories of him, and give you strength to meet each new day.
