Edmund A. Rademacher, 89, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Memorial Community Hospital, Blair, Nebraska. Edmund August Rademacher was born to Frank Sr. and Ida (Fleming) Rademacher on the family homestead southwest of Anamoose, ND on March 23, 1917. He received his education from Anamoose Public Schools. He joined the Army Air Corps, Bombardier Division in 1941 and was stationed at Midland, Texas until honorably discharged in 1945. He married Molly Frederick on February 18, 1947 in Anamoose and they farmed until 1972 when they moved to town. For 30 years, Ed drove a school bus finally retiring in 1975. Over the years he was employed by Alme Chevrolet and the Game and Fish Department. He was a 75 year member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the American Legion. In 1993 they moved to Fargo, then to Blair Nebraska in 1996 to be closer to their children. Ed?s joys in life were farming, traveling, gardening, fishing, and playing cards-especially Whist. Survivors include his wife, Molly of Blair, NE; 4 daughters, Karen (Cameron) Carlson, Lincoln, NE, Virginia (Wayne) Heebsh, Dallas, TX, Connie (Brendon) Klein, Mesa, AZ, and Marilyn (Ralph) Volk, Liberty, MO; 6 grandchildren, Brad and Tanya Heebsh, Dallas, TX, Joshua Mehlhaff, Sioux Falls, SD, Eric Volk, Minneapolis, MN, and Kaylyn and Curtis Carlson, Lincoln, NE; and one brother, Clarence, Underwood, ND.
